It is called that because inviting people to a hurricane awareness party sounds boring. The purpose of the group is to create a sense of community in my neighborhood with my home being the hub for the next time we all get to camp inside our houses for a month because we got hit with another hurricane. I want to help others get prepared for next time and hopefully bring us all together to help and be there for each other the next time we get hit. Also, (as the name implies), we enjoy Kentucky Bourbon, cigars and burgers or maybe some BBQ when we get together!
